Oil cleansers: 

Description: 

Oil cleansers help to properly care for your skin by removing makeup dirt and impurities from the skin. Oil and water do not mix and the skin contains naturally occurring oil called sebum. Making oil cleansing is a necessary first step in the cleansing routine.


How To use: 

Start by messaging the product into the skin, no not wet the face before using the oil unless the product will not work properly. Message into the skin for 60-90 sec. Take your time with this process; do not be alarmed if oil plugs and dirt emerge out of the skin, this is normal. The cleanser is working to remove dead skin and impurities from the skin. 



Gel Cleanser: 

Gel cleansers are a gentler alternative to traditional foam cleansers for those that are left with a tight or stripped feeling after regular use. Gel cleansers are a hybrid of hydrating and foaming cleansers, leaving the skin hydrated while deeply cleaning the skin. 


Hydrating Cleansers: 

Hydrating cleansers are ideal for all skin types and the best type of cleanser for dry skin. It does not just cleanse the skin but show the skin love by leaving it hydrated 


Foaming Cleanser: 

Foam cleansers are water-based cleansers that work with surfactants to gently remove dirt and oil from the skin. This cleansing step is the most basic step. One should take special care when selecting a cleanser. Based on an individual's skincare needs and goals, age and environment cleansers types needed could change drastically. 


Water Cleanser:

This is the lightest form of cleanser e.g Miller cleansers water. They are mostly used as 1st step cleansers like the oil cleanser to remove makeup and  impurities from the face before going on the main cleanser 


Exfoliator: 

Exfoliation helps to brighten the skin, and remove dead and damaged skin revealing younger glowing and more vibrant skin cells. This third step is not for everyday use, depending on the strength of the exfoliator. Some advise weekly use while others can be used every three days or so. Exfoliating toner 

Are toners that contain exfoliating ingredients as glycolic acid, Lactic acid, mandelic acid, or salicylic. It is important that to choose an exfoliating Toner  according to your skin need


Toners and Essenes:

Toners and essences typically come in two forms, astringent and treatment and hydrators. Toners and essences being the first step after cleansing these products are the first products introduced to the skin after cleansing. Essences are typically thicker than toners, so they can be used one after the other While a hydrating toner can be used throughout the skincare routine to add additional moisture to the skin, astringent/treatment toners are typically formulated to go directly after cleansing. Put a small amount of the liquid in your hands and massage it into the skin.

Serums:

Serums are lightweight active ingredients meant to tackle your specific needs. Serums come in different forms some can be liquid, some have a gel-like texture and some are close to the consistency of creams but what identifies them as serums is their high percentages of active ingredients. Many of the active ingredients are directly included in the name of the product or on the bottle. Also note that the formulation of products contributes greatly to how they behave, despite having similar active ingredients.

How to use Sheet Masks and Eye masks: 

Sheet masks are an optional step but are a great way to pamper your skin a little bit more. It helps to moisturize the skin while delivering key ingredients to the skin. Eye masks work in a similar way they help to moisturizer and deliver key ingredients to the under-eye area.

This mask should be used after serum to help lock in those active ingredients. use the sheet mask, apply the sheet mask to the face, wait for 10 to 15 min, remove the mask, and continue with moisturizer. To use an eye mask apply directly to the face and wait 30min, continue with under eye cream. 


Moisturizer 

Moisturizing is arguably the most important step in your skincare routine. They help to lock in key moisture and previously applied products into the skin.


How to use

Use it as the last step of your skincare routine before SPF. Take a little more than a pea-size amount. warm-up on your palm and massage onto your face and body

 


Sun Care 

Sunscreen is one of the most important steps in caring for the skin and should never be missed, else other efforts put into taking care of your skin are in jeopardy. Sunscreens protect the skin from the harmful damage of the sun, which causes and aggravate skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, premature aging, e.t.c

shake well. Take a generous amount, apply the amount you can rub in at a time, let the sink, and reapply. Reapply sunscreen every two hour
